Room Tax Information
The Town of Farmington adopted a Room Tax of 8% for short-term rentals effective January 1, 2021. Each short-term rental property is required to have a Tourist Rooming House Permit from the Waupaca County Department of Health & Human Services and a Town of Farmington Room Tax Permit.
Homeowners and Individuals who sell or furnish lodging to the public for periods of less than one month must comply with State and local laws for the collection of taxes. Information on regulations see the following:
