The Town of Farmington in Waupaca County has implemented seasonal weight limits on all Town roads. These limits are consistent with the schedule established by the Waupaca County Highway Commissioner. The seasonal weight restriction is six (6) tons per single axle and ten (10) tons per tandem axle.
These limits protect the Town roads during the spring thaw when the pavement is more vulnerable to damage. Notification will be posted when the limits are lifted.
Permits will be issued upon receipt of a completed permit application and payment of the applicable fees. Completed applications and payment may be mailed to the address below or delivered to the Town Hall.
Seasonal Weight Limit Permit Forms are available on our website under the “Forms and Permits” section. They can also be obtained at the Farmington Town Hall during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
Single Trip Permit – $50.00 per vehicle
Multiple Trip Permit – $60.00 per vehicle
