The Town of Farmington has been considering withdrawing from the Waupaca Regional Recycling & Compost Commission (center located at 608 Lakeside Parkway in Waupaca). Before the Board takes any formal action, we would like to gather resident input on which replacement services you would like the Town to consider offering, with our main concern being leaves and brush.

Please note that this does not include normal everyday garbage or recyclables that are already collected through our curbside service with Harter’s. The Town would also not be replacing electronics collection, as we already offer a free one-day electronics recycling event each year for residents.

The Board would also take into consideration the collection services already offered by the Processing and Transfer Facility in Manawa.

Gathering this information does not mean the Town will provide these services; we are simply assessing the needs and preferences of Farmington residents.
