Hwy 54 Road Construction Begins August 8, 2025
Please be advised that construction on Hwy 54 is scheduled to begin on August 8, 2025, and will continue through early November.
Project Details:

CTH Q Intersection: Reconstruction will occur, requiring up to 5 days of closure per side (North & South).

Milling & Paving: From the Waupaca/Portage County line to Foxfire Drive.

Concrete Work: On the east end near Foxfire Drive.

Traffic Impacts:

The roadway will remain open, but will be controlled by flaggers at work locations.

Emergency access will not be impacted – with the exception of CTH Q during the 5 day closures.
- Update 7-30-2025: Please note, starting on Monday August 11th, CTH Q on the north side of the intersection with STH 54, will closed for one week. The next week, Monday the 18th, CTH Q on the south side of the intersection with Hwy 54, will be closed for one week.

Schedule:
The project is expected to run from early August through early November.
